Wellington Store — Part Time Retail Assistant

We're seeking a fabric-loving individual to join our team as a part-time Retail Assistant at our College Street store. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for fabric, coupled with knowledge of garment construction, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service!

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for our products and the textile industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Genuine passion for fabric and garment construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
• Proactively achieve sales targets through effective communication and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient store environment.

This part-time role is for 4 hours per week on a Sunday, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours during sale periods and annual leave cover. The role is fixed term for December 2025 – March 2026.

Dunedin Store — Part Time Retail Assistant

What we look for: For all of our retail store roles, we look to hire fabric-loving individuals and the ideal candidates will be those able to deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also have a genuine love for fabric, as well as garment construction knowledge. In our retail positions, you will need to be pro-active in achieving sales targets and be passionate about providing a high level of customer service at all times. Previous retail experience is an advantage, however the ability to work in a team, passion for our product, and the right knowledge/skillset are the most important factors for us when hiring for our retail stores. The successful candidate will have an innate love for beautiful fabrics and will be excited to work in a creative and inspiring environment.
