Staff Make - Charlotte's Fog Tee Hack

Staff Make - Charlotte's Fog Tee Hack

Charlotte has sewn an incredible dress! She used our Mod Flower cotton, combining a hacked Make by TFS Fog Tee and self-drafted skirt. Check out details and photos below!

On the pattern - "This make was a bit of a journey, not only in the time it took, but I went back and forth in my head about what I wanted the finished project to look like and the best way to go about making it. I ended up shirring my fabric first, before tracing around the Fog Tee pattern and sewed a basting stitch along the traced line, before cutting it out. I shortened the top by about 10cm, so it finishes at my waist. The shirring took a long time, but the sewing together of everything was quick and only took an afternoon. I'm keen to make another rendition soon, where I can hopefully iron out any fit issues!"

Charlotte chose a playful multicoloured thread from her stash for the shirring lines after testing with black and not feeling happy about the outcome. It turns out more is more!
