Our Make by TFS Poppy Coat makes the most incredible base for showcasing so many different coating fabrics including timeless tones like fawn, ecru and camel. This week we add a classic mid-length Poppy to our Make by TFS wardrobe, kindly modelled by Ella from our HQ team.
Our Poppy Coat pattern is a modern oversized coat with an enveloping silhouette and exaggerated detailing, the perfect balance of practicality and style! This pattern is fully lined with a single front button closure, playful curved collar and notch lapel, long sleeves, and generous front welt pockets. Two views provide alternative length options, with View A offered in full length and View B in mid-length. For this soft colour, we chose the mid-length and made up a size 10 for Ella with no mods. This used approximately 2.7m of our deadstock Wool/Nylon Coating - Fawn, plus 2.4m of Acetate Lining - Cream and one Recycled Paper Button 25.4mm - Light.

The Poppy Coat comes in our NZ 4 - 32 size range and is an oversized fit with long raglan sleeves. If you fall outside of this size range, we will be able to grade a size for you. There is a three-week turnaround period per pattern for this service and is offered at no additional cost to the original PDF purchase.
